Yandex has become the first Russian company to pass the certification of its advertising for compliance with international standards of the Media Rating Council (MRC) and Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). The assessment was carried out by the company IAB Tech Lab.
Yandex advertising, impression and click measurement for banner and video ads meet MRC/IAB standards on all platforms: desktop, mobile, and mobile apps.
The single standard will make the purchase of ads and analysis of advertising campaigns more convenient for advertisers who work with different markets, Yandex said. It will also become easier to compare analytics in various international advertising systems.
